Fizzgig Theatre
HANSEL AND GRETEL 2017
In collaboration with Fizzgig Theatre, we put on four free festive pantomimes for kids and adults alike across our neighbourhoods.

Just been to lights switch switch on at Dundasvale residents hall, Fizzgig's Hansel and Gretel was fabulous. Clever, witty, energetic. Children and adults loved it. Brilliant idea!

We were at the panto at Mugdock this afternoon and really enjoyed it. Great for all ages. Thanks

Mairi Fitzsimons

Hilarious! We laughed from start to finish and every year we look forward to the audience participation song!

Emma Preston

This is the best kept secret ever! Lovely wee theatre, relaxed atmosphere, no gimmicks or expensive merchandise that you feel you have to buy and the actors are happy to take time out and chat afterwards.

Pamela Greeson

Yet another hilarious Panto from Fizzgig. How do they do it every year? From grandparents to the children, we all loved it. Big thanks to the company.

Trueman family, Paisley

We come every year to this Panto and are never disappointed. Original scripts, great songs and the actors are absolutely lovely.

JACK AND THE BEANSTALK 2016

Christmas wouldn't be  the same without our trip to the Fizzgig Panto at Mugdock Country Park. Floss has to be one of the funniest people on stage. Lovely venue, intimate theatre, so relaxed. See you next year!

Selena Graham

Going to the Fizzgig Panto has become a tradition for our family. I buy the tickets well in advance, travel up from Liverpool to the family and we all go. Never disappointed!! Well done Fizzgig!

Sally and Joe Lawson

So clever! I had no idea how they were going to do Jack going up the beanstalk. We loved it!

We attended last night's performance at Mugdock. It was the first time at a Pantomime for our 4 yr old  grandson and he was very apprehensive. Some nervous tears, watching through fingers then relaxing into shouting and singing with the cast...he loved it! All the way home he kept saying how funny it was. Thank you for giving our family such a happy time.

"Fizzgig's Pantos at Mugdock are always great, but this one really surpassed itself, the funniest one ever!"

"This was our first visit to the Panto at Mugdock and we just laughed and laughed! It was hilarious for both the children and the adults. Well done Fizzgig!"

"What I love about the pantos which Fizzgig do is that they are absolutely suitable for children of all ages, no need to worry about unsuitable content, just fun, fun, fun."

"The funniest panto ever this year, watch out for the piggyback gnome-priceless!"

"Hilariously funny for both children and adults, this won't be our last visit. Must find out when they open the bookings for next year!"

"How do they manage to produce such brilliant shows year after year? It has become a huge family tradition for us to visit Fizzgig's panto every year."

AND THE HIGHLANDS WERE EQUALLY AS LOVELY!

"The short version of Cinderella had all the story and loads of laughs. Ten of our family had a fun packed time at the hall in Portgower. Topical jokes and family friendly and so tremendously well delivered. The atmosphere in the hall was very special and we were made to feel part of the performance. Oh yes we were!" Willie Mackay, Dornoch

"Hilarious! Sore from laughing!" Briony Ballantyne, Brora

"We went to see the Fizzgig Panto at the Portgower Hall and we absolutely loved it. Far better than the Eden Court one, tremendous audience participation and friendly cast. A must see show and can't wait to see them again." Christine MacLean, Brora

"A fab night at the Fizzgig Panto, very funny and well worth a viewing, I hope it becomes an annual event." Cyn Duncan, Brora

"Had a great time this afternoon. A fantastically funny panto. I haven't laughed so much in ages!" Chris Barker, Brora

AND OUR FRIGHT NIGHTS....

I'm a bloke! I'm not supposed to scream like a girl but...! That's all I'm saying. Go on one of these walks at your peril!!

David Walker

So unlike anything else we have been to. Spooky woods, pitch dark, scares round every corner. An amazing number of actors who take every opportunity to scare you witless! Take wellies though!

Susan Davis

Not for the faint hearted. It is full on frights from beginning to end!

Mary McCaulley

I am normally very sceptical about these events but very quickly I was screaming and running along with everyone else. I was still thinking about it the next day!

Louise Cummings

This is the ONLY way to spend Halloween!!

Martin Dawson

I attended your Fright Nights at Mugdock last night. First time for me. Very enjoyable. Great production and acting ( though I'm not sure if all the mad people were acting). I took a minor breathing / panic attack and your Mad Doctor very swiftly came out of character to help. Many thanks to him. I quickly managed to join the group again and continue while he (after making sure I was ok) quickly got back into character and continued. Very well done to the whole group of actors. Excellent. Thank you for a memorable and enjoyable night.

Rita McLeod

What a great night! Best Halloween in a long time! If you are looking for something to do on Halloween the Fizzgig Fright Nights are the way to go!

Anne Simpson

What a good time we all had at Mugdock Park last night with the Fizzgig Fright Nights. We will be back next year.

Karen McQuarrie

AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT Rabbie Burns show at Mugdock! Entertained from the youngest to the oldest. Thanks for the fab entertainment. Hope to see you again next year.

Katie Risk

Just been to see Fizzgig's Rabbie Burns School Days at Mugdock. Loved it. What a fantastic show. Everyone was brilliant. Thank you.

Julie Martin

Thank you Fizzgig for another fabulous weekend of entertainment. All performances of Tam O' Shanter's Bairns and Burns and Buns were hugely popular and went down a treat. After one performance I came across a group of 4 adults, who were leaving the theatre and as they were heading to the carpark they were singing Ae Fond Kiss

at the tops of their lungs. The sound of joy!

Liz, former park officer

We made it into the Herald's top 11 and we were number 1 !!!!
